Welcome to The Bench, where taking a timeout is just as awesome as scoring the winning shot. Traditionally The Bench is thought of as a negative place to be but at KC Crew, we know that sitting out isn’t just about waiting—it’s about recharging and gearing up for your next big move.
Think of The Bench as your crew’s hideout to refuel and reflect. It’s the perfect spot to take a break, catch your breath, and prepare for what’s next.
Whether you’re charging before the big game or celebrating with your crew, we’ve got cool drinks like Sports Coffee, Kombucha, and ZOA Energy to keep you fueled. Want something a bit more fun? Grab a seltzer, beer, canned cocktail, or wine (NA options available).
Swing by The Bench before or after your game to Recharge, Relax, and Rehydrate—because every champion needs their downtime.
AREAs in The Bench
Ringo
This area near the front door has seating for 6 to 7 people. You can view a mounted TV from here as well as the projector screen on the whiteboard wall. The Ringo game and connect 4 is in this area as well.
Putskee
The Putskee area has seating for 6 to 8 at a bar top which can also be turned into a games table. You can view the project screen on the whiteboard wall and a second TV mounted on the wall. Games in this area include, you guessed it, the Putskee, but also connect 4 and Ringo.
Darts
The darts area has 1 standing table, the games, some of the bench and is a hop, skip and jump from your next beverage. You can view the 2 TVs over the bar or a great view of the projector screen on the whiteboard wall.
The Bar
The bar seats 4 to 5 people and has two TV viewing options. Need another beverage? You don’t have to go far.
Conference Room
This is a private space near the back that can seat 7 to 10 people. There is an 85in TV for presentations, watching sports or playing Nintendo. This room also has a large whiteboard.
Ringo
This area near the front door has seating for 6 to 7 people. You can view a mounted TV from here as well as the projector screen on the whiteboard wall. The Ringo game and connect 4 is in this area as well.

A place where you can relax, watch sports, play some games and have some drinks that doesn’t require a dress code. Somewhere that the music is loud enough for you to enjoy, but not so loud that you can’t chat with your friends or meet new ones.
After entering the arena, go up to the basketball courts on the 2nd floor. Find section 226 and walk towards the Women’s Restroom, then turn left towards the KC Crew sign.
We do not currently have food but you can bring or order in whatever food you like.
Yes, each area has a TV or projector to watch your preferred sports or game. The main bench area has a large 4K projector with the most important game of the night. The conference room has an 85in TV with seating as well.
Yes, we have Darts, Connect 4, Ringo, Putskee, Nintendo, and board games.
Correct. We only accept credit card. No cash will be accepted.
The Bench is 21 and older except for private events and before 7pm on weekends.

Currently The Bench is opening for KC Crew’s league participants on the days and times below.
- Sunday from 5pm to 10pm
- Monday from 6pm to 10pm
- Tuesday from 6pm to 10pm
- Wednesday from 6pm to 10pm
RENT THE BENCH
The Bench is great for hosting a birthday party, gender reveal, graduation party, a fantasy draft, diaper parties, corporate event or a poker night. Yes kids are allowed for private events. We can also pair your event with use of the courts in HyVee Arena to play pickleball, basketball, volleyball, cornhole, setup a bounce house and run a fun Field Day competition for your group.
