Sports Night Out: Active Fun, Happy Kids
Welcome to Crew Kids! We believe kids should enjoy sports at their own pace, explore different activities, and build confidence through play—not stress about competition or burnout.
Let’s face it, we all need a break sometimes. Sports Night Out gives your kids a chance to run, play, and make friends in a safe and fun environment, while you get some much-needed time to yourself. Join us for Sports Night Out on Saturday, January 25th from 6pm until 8:15pm at Matt Ross Community Center in Downtown Overland Park.
This event is for boys and girls between 8 and 12 years old and will include fun social games like noodle hockey (pool noodles and a foam ball or beach ball), soccer (with a foam ball), 3v3 basketball, wiffle ball, and kickball. We believe in the power of play. Sports Night Out isn’t about babysitting; it’s about giving kids the opportunity to just be kids while developing social skills and building confidence.

TIMELINE
6pm – Drop Off
Drop off will be in the lobby at Matt Ross where a Crew Kids Coach will check them in and take them to the gym.
Due to Overland Park’s community center policy parents/spectators will not be allowed in the gym.
815pm to 830pm – pickup in the lobby

Coach Jason Holzer from 4D Athletes brings his years of experience coaching and teaching not just sports, but life skills through sports.Â
We have a strict 1 coach for 10 kids for our programs so we can provide a great experience for everyone.Â

With more than 100,000 adults served and partnerships with local organizations like Overland Park Parks and Rec, Kansas City Missouri Parks and Rec, and HyVee Arena. We’ve built a reputation for creating fun, social experiences for everyone.

Matt Ross Community Center which is owned by Overland Park Parks and Rec. We have partnered with them to reserve Court 2 in the gym for all of our games.Â
A water bottle and any snacks they need to enjoy 2 hours of fun, active play. We’d suggest wearing tennis shoes.Â
